The APEX Pro Hardware utilizes a 9 Axis IMU, a 10HZ GPS, and machine learning to create a model of the track and your vehicle's capabilities. Real-time feedback is provided through LED lights in the car, and extensive information is available on the app after each driving session.

It provides 10 times the accuracy and frequency of smartphone GPS, real-time in-car analysis using their proprietary machine learning model called APEX Score, MPH/KPH selection, Crew View for accessing live feed and posting user records, the ability to post laps to a "Top Ten" record board, extensive post-session analysis with overlay features like APEX Score, Speed, Lat G, Long G, OBDII channels (with OBDII hardware), Yaw Rate on GPS image, histogram plots, X,Y chart, and Scatterplot. It also provides lap replay functionality, an interactive speedometer, light bar replay, AirDrop data sharing, and the ability to overlay laps from different days or sessions at the same track along with gain/loss time overlay on GPS Satellite images.

What does the App offer with APEX Pro OBDII? For everyday use, it offers a gauge cluster for live engine data, check engine light (MIL) diagnostic codes, and a zero-to-sixty MPH timer. For racing purposes, it provides high-quality GPS lap timing using the phone's GPS, access to Crew View live feed, GPS Satellite image overlay with heat maps showing Speed and Long. G, speed trace and histogram plots for further analysis, recorded OBDII data channels, lap replay function with interactive speedometer, AirDrop data sharing for overlaying data with other drivers on the same track, and auto track selection at hundreds of official tracks worldwide. Users can also toggle "Enable Phone GPS Logging" if they don't have the APEX Pro Hardware.

What does the App offer with the 'Lap Timer Plus' subscription? After your first lap on track, the timer can display your predicted lap time or the delta between your current lap and your best lap so far. This allows competitive drivers to quickly assess the impact of changes in their driving line or traffic. The track can be divided into sectors for goal-setting, and a theoretical best lap can be calculated. Additionally, users can record video during a driving session and then add data overlays afterwards.
